In my solo exhibition at the World of Threads Festival in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, I presented a collection of fibre cocoons meticulously crafted through the art of wrapped fibre. These pieces resembled delicate cocoons, suspended gracefully from a wooden branch, exuding organic and feminine forms. Each cocoon encapsulated a hidden essence, inviting viewers to contemplate the concealed narratives within. The juxtaposition of the wrapped fibre and the wooden branch created a harmonious interplay, embodying the intricate balance between nature, femininity, and the enigmatic stories enclosed within the cocooned structures.
