"The Greenhouse" was conceived amidst the cliffs of Zuqim village in the Arava desert in 2020. It encapsulates my observations as a returning Israeli resident, rediscovering local materials and culture. This sculpture delves into the realm of Arava agriculture, emerging from discarded greenhouses waste materials. It explores the interplay of hidden and visible motifs, juxtaposing transparency with opacity. The transformation of inexpensive, discarded materials into a form of mysterious beauty remains a focal point, reminiscent of the calligraphy of agricultural remnants.
