Encapsulated Moments

"Encapsulated Moments" presents three-dimensional spaces that serve as sanctuaries for contemplation, providing a refuge from the ceaseless flux of the world around us. Visitors to the exhibit are invited to reflect on the impermanence of all things, encouraging a pause and connection with the artwork before continuing their journey. Rothschild's sculptures ground themselves in the tangible present while also acting as vessels for transportation—often leading to introspective destinations within oneself. Life unfolds through significant transformations, encompassing the cycles of birth, death, decay, and rebirth. "Wrapped/Trapped Memories" challenges limiting beliefs, bridging the perceived gaps between what we think we "know" and what is deemed "other." It provides a shared entry point for visitors to traverse into the liminal world that the cocoons both inhabit and create.
